I am Assistant Professor of Central European Studies at University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. My research considers how changing paradigms in science, technology and industry alter how we live together, work together, and visualize the future together. I am an author of SF and graduate of the Clarion Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers' Workshop. My science fiction can be found in Interzone, the Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction and Galaxies SF.
